Is vincent tan after a quick buck?

Mon Jul 18, 2011 8:35 pm

If Vincent tan IS here to try and make a quick buck? And he can sell us for 150 million when we are in the premiership lets hope it's very soon as the new owners are not going to spend £150 million to run the club into the ground :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

f**k knows what his intentions are but he's a business man so he wants to make a profit. Is he loyal to Cardiff City? Only time will tell. For know all we can do is get behind the team and get to the promised land.

Loyal to Cardiff City?

Why would he be?

Tan is almost certainly after profit. So too would virtually all other people in football boards - the exceptions are rare.

Where our interests co-incide, everyone is happy.

If corners have been cut, shady activities have occurred which put the club at risk of punishment, well, that's a different matter.

If not all club owners are in for the money, way of football now :(

There are few owners nowadays who are in it for the love of a club and the kudos. Take us for example, two multiple-billionaire owners who could buy a decent team with lose change tha they ave lost own the back of their respective sofas, one, who claims he doesn't kno much about football and the othe, the UK's richest man who is not prepared to buy the club lock stock, because of the ridiculous valuation put on the club by Ecclestone. No money has been spent on players and Warnock has been told to be creative on who he brings in as there are no funds available. The PL is not even the cash cow that supporters think it is simply because of the demands of players. I have been told that if QPR don't pay any new signing on fees or transfer fees this year, excluding any sponsorship deals the club would make just a £4million profit! Some club owners are starting to wise up to this, such as Mike Ashley at Newcastle, but in the main promotion to the Prem is a potential for a recipe for disaster. Football is now all about making a quick buck and screwing the supporters and only five or six clubs really have the financial clout to be successful and survive.

We'll lose 6-0 to Wigan at this rate! Last season was a thrill to see us win the league, but football at the top end is corrupt. It would be great to separate the PL from the football league, becaus let's face it, the football might not be the greatest but it really is a proper competition, with proper clubs, proper grounds, proper supporters and proper prices. We now have Paddy Kenny wanting more money, it seems that he has forgotten that we signed him on a three year contract and doubled his then money at the same time! Poor little lad, finding it difficult to continuing to cover the co of hi missus's permatan sessions!

Everyone took the Piss (except you) when we missed out on Promotion. But you KNEW that it was part of our Master plan to stay in the Championship. (Totally agree with your views on OUR league.) :ayatollah: :)
