club statement

I'm sure the club will be making a statement about pretty soon about what was seen on tv tonight. problem is, will it answer any questions that are asked? or will they just play it down?

I doubt they will comment, nothing really to comment on. At worse Tan met with someone, so what

Tan has met someone clearly very dodgy. also everyone he has had involved in clubs recently have been dodgy.
this is not good news.

And again, it depends upon the number and nature of meetings - silly to think otherwise.

There's a massive, massive difference between say Tan being asked to a meeting, seeing if he wanted to sell / seek investment as a one off meeting and regular meetings with representatives of London Nominees, who are dodgy as f**k.

I've no doubt the League will ask the club for a response, if for no other reason that to get the club to commit to a position should any further information arise.

Vincent Tan is a very high profile businessman. He is well known within the Malaysian political circles as well as those further afield.

Given this it is only normal that, at times, he will deal with some shady characters - just as much as he will deal with honest characters.

I personally don't see anything to worry about

I would be very surprised if any billionaire has not had some dodgy dealings at some time in their career.

saw nothing on ch4 to worry about. Just watched a fat Asian bragging. Alex Furguson already distanced himself from his 'friend'

He took over a club run by Peter Ridsdale, I'm sure he knows about dodgy people.
Sir Alex met this guy, is he now a crook?
