FFS this site is all about freedom of speech is it not? 50% of fans dislike ledley as do 50% like ledley as i have found when i speak to fans.
i personally dont like the guy. but i can accept why people like him, and understand why they like him. but you cannot question people when they dislike a player that leaves are club and then gives Cardiff little digs in to the press up north and try to convince cardiffs targets to join him up north. you could say, what else is he ment to do when asked the question. but i dislike anyone Cardiff born or not who can causes problems for the club. i am a cardiff city supporter not a ledley supporter.

One player who will live off one moment he done something magnificent for the club, other than that, he did nothing more than what Eddie Johnson did. Won't be getting a clap off me, as I think he doesn't deserve it. If he is a "Cardiff Boy", and a "Fan of the club" why did he leave us for free when the club were in desperate need of cash? He knew what sort of money he could have made for the club if he had just signed that 1 year contract extension. Every player wants glory, but when it's for the wrong reason's, why bother?

Have I said I believe anyone's "versions of events". Just never rated Ledley at all, thats why I've said about Ledley doing nothing more than Johnson. He never given Cardiff, or Wales that spark that we could have had from McPhail or Rae imo. Yes he was young, Yes he was Welsh, yes he was a "Cardiff Boy", and most fans seem to be blinded by that. Never supported him as in, never thought he was as good as what people made out to be. He was never jaw dropping. Never gave his all, and lived off a few games he done well in. But hey, I don't support City because I don't support a "City Born" player. He's a self confessed Liverpool fan, who because he's from Cardiff, He must be a Cardiff fan.

An element of truth to that but he was underrated and taken for granted by the club for being Cardiff born asell.

Offered no parity in wages in relation to other playes where he was an established international and professional player at this level.

Risdale thought they could get him on the cheap and the lad would be grateful.

Decent business done by Ledley, I don't blame hi and poor by the lying cnt from Yorkshire.

I think for the time Joe was here, he was one of our better players.
Comparing him to Eddie Johnson is ludicrous. For a start, Ledley
got more goals from midfield than Johnson did as a striker. In fact
I think my nana could have got a better goals return than Edward!

Before his injury he was playing bloody well. Stoke didnt give a toss
if he was a local Cardiff coy, yet they wanted to sign him.

Maybe now he WOULDNT be good enough to play in our midfield.

Whether he reached his peak very young, or injury has knocked him
back permanently we'll never know.

I for one will cheer him when he comes out onto the pitch, for being a great servant of the club since the age of 9, but once the whistle goes, then he his no different from any opposition.

I didnt mind Ledley but did get a bad attertude at the end and I went off him but as been said it is his word against that lying Fat greedy Yorshire b*stard I will side with Ledley.

My complain about Ledley is I think he made a big mistake not just for Cardiff City but for himself going to Celtic he could have gone to Stoke and played the best teams in Europe in Man U Arsenal Liverpool Chelsea etc but instead playing against teams that are no better than League 1. So it was wages he went for not football

End of the day, he was free to do what he liked, he fulfilled his contract.

But I do agree Celtic was a bad move, but this could be due to his agent, but we dont know the truth of what went on between Ledley and the Ridler, but at least we should thank Ledley for what hes done at our club. The same applies to Matthews (which wasnt his fault for leaving, and I know hes bit gutted in leaving now, coz he would have loved to have stayed if he can play first team football) and Loovens.
