im flying out 10th oct from heathrow to sofia and back on 12th. i paid £160 about 4 months ago. similar flights now cost about 220. it seems to work out alot cheaper to fly out with BA and back with bulgarian airways. The flight back is over £200 alone. you can book it through http://www.edreams.co.uk or book it on the carriers website- i dont think there is much differance in price.
there are cheaper alternatives on budget airlines but the prices dont include luggage. also BA have free drinks and food in flight. Other plus's with BA over budget airlines are location of heathrow and better flight times.
Ive also booked the night before the flight out in travelodge terminal 5 which at the moment is £10 for the night. it says leaving south wales at 2am ish for an 8.30am flight.
ive booked my hotel and im staying in the dedaman princesss (sp) hotel. it cost £80 for the room for the 2 nights and its 4 star. i booked it through www.hotelclub.com

I havnt booked yet either.
Im tempted to do something Iv never done before and fly out on the morning of the game.
You can get a flight out of Heathrow at 8.30am day of game gets to Sofia at 1.30pm, what time is KO?
Coming home Thursday.

No idea sorry mate.
Im sure it was said that the Supporters Club are running a trip so there will no doubt be some kind of transport laid on.

the stadium is in central sofia so should be easy to get to

Few of us are making a holiday out of it as it worked out cheaper to stay for 6 nights. Flights were only around £90! Leaving Sunday morning coming back Saturday. Cant wait

Im going with supporters club. Ive been twice there for a holiday. Try and get as close to the main Boulevard as possible in the centre of the city. I last stayed at Hotel Niky, good location and hotel.
