Mancini/Bellamy - Agreement imminent?

Mon Jul 18, 2011 5:36 am

Manchester city have finally made an agreement with brazillian side Corinthians for a very large fee for Carlos Teves who was supposedly on almost £200,000 a week! In the wake of this agreement attentions will be switched to another of Man City's high earners - Craig Bellamy.

Now that Teves has got his way to move closer to his family in Argentina, Craig Bellamy will be hoping to do the same. Bellamy has been told as he did last year that he doesn't feature in this seasons 25 man squad - and man city don't want to be paying out a total of £3.9m to an unused player.

Cross fingers and hope that we may receive some welcoming news over the next fortnight.... :ayatollah:

Bit of a difference though in that Corinthians have offered 40 million and its been accepted.

We have probably only offered three million for Bellers

Still not confident about Bellamy coming --Hope im wrong

Malky is not that naive that he would just concentrate on Bellamy! We know that.....

if you think we have or will offer anything for bellamy you must be fu..ing crazy or plain stupid, why do you think its draging on, i will once again explain man city dont want him , he is under contract they have to honour that contract at a cost of 4.5 million . my prediction they will offer something in the region of 3 million to rip up his contract leaving him free to sign for us on 30k a week giving him 1.5 milfrom us and 3 mil from man city totaling 4.5 mil for next season. bellamy dont lose out on any wages , man city save face and 1.5 mil and we get bellamy for another season at a cost of only 1.5 mil :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I think you have it in a nutshell mate.
It just seems to be the only answer to be honest, it seems to make great business sense as well, !!
I can hang on a while if it means Bellers is coming back but I dont think it will be too long now.

I'm personally not expecting us to offer anything - and I never mentioned that we would! However, the longer it does drag on the more desperate All parties would be! More so Man City - it is costing them the most money....

I like Bellamy but what did he do for us last season ? (winner against the scum) If he loved cardiff as a club he would have played for us before now but it's always been money over love. Last season was his choice and it suited him to be closer to his family and he didnt lose any wages. (i bet it would have ben diffrent if his wages were cut) Yes when he playes he tries to give 110%. then he tries to hard some games and nothing goes right for him. Last season i thought he was going off a couple of times mouthing the ref. why pay Top money for bellamy (fucked knee's) he could last a couple of seasons, months, 1 week, half a game. Lets get a younger player in someone looking to make his mark on the game. We have all been excited about other players. Fowler Hasslewank our club have been mugged in the past top named players picking up top wages for rubbish performances just winding their selfes down for retirment. LETS BUILD A YOUNG PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Bellamy probably earned us between 10-15 pts on his own last season with his goals assists and sheer determination to drive the players on. He is desperate to get CCFC promoted, and will probably remain ad backstaff once his playing days are over - always welcome in my eyes.
