In all honesty golf is a hard sport to gamble on successfully, plenty of variables.
Boylesports are paying out on 8 places on each way bets so worth going with them. Bound to be one or two big prices in the top 8 so worth picking a couple of outsiders too.

in with a shout - as is Matt Kuchar, fancy him to certainly be in the top 8 come the fourth round

I won £100 on Rory in the US open, not sure he will do it again though, but i love the guy so will have fiver on him.

And he hadn't played a tournament since his victory...could go either way, this time from the first tee the attention be be all on him - I'm not convinced but then again he was just brilliant in the US open so can't discount him. Westwood has got to win a major at some point! And as previous mentioned I like Kuchar.

MG he still seems pretty level headed to me, I couldnt imagine the pressure and shit he has to go through for winning one tournament.

I got 22/1 on Martin Kaymer

gone £10 each way on angel cabrera, betfred going 7 places for each way and paying quarters not fifths. BTW in practice cabrera hit the green off the tee on 2 of the par fours, over 440yrds each drive! Links golf is so unpredictable though!

A good bet i think is Ladbrokes are still offering odds of 25/1 that Brits fill the 1st 3 places on the final leaderboard

I was going to say that 22/1 on Kaymer each way with either Paddy Power (paying top 7) or Boylesports (paying top 8) is a really tasty bet.

The course requires excellent touch around the green and good fairway accuracy. Luke Donald is perfectly suited for this and is in confident mood following his success in the Scottish Open when he played almost flawless golf.
If the weather gets blowy, he also has the control to stay on the fairways and the advantage the big hitters have in other championships is not such a big factor in Sandwich.
McIlroy has to be favourite though.
