FAO ALL READERS OF THIS MSGBOARD

I have not been on here for a couple of days bit reading through some of the posts it is disappointing to see a few posters state they are leaving the msgboard for a while because they are upset by either the content of some posts, or the name calling between members.

I would like to ask anybody who is offended by a post/thread to report the comments by clicking the 'report' button on the actual posting. This will flag up the offending post to all moderators who are signed in and it will be dealt with immediately. The moderators do a grand job on this forum but due to the increase in members and subsequent posts not all these offending remarks are picked up.

This is your board and you help to make it what it is, I would appreciate your support and action in this to keep the board the fun and interesting board it has become known for.

In addition I would like to remind everyone that during transfer windows we as a club get linked with many players and as a result rumours become rife and message boards are the hub for many of these rumours but that does not mean that a poster with very few posts or someone with thousands of posts against their user name deems the necessary post/rumour to be less credible. Can you discuss the rumour/post for what it is and do not get personal to the poster regardless of who they are.

That does not mean you can't think or say you don't believe it but let's not get into insults, people hear rumours and are given info and all these posters are doing is passing it on.

Let's keep the board fun, light hearted and entertaining.

Just heard a rumour that John Toshack has been linked with Liverpool. You heard it here first.

Totally agree Carl - I would rather hear a few rumours than nothing at all.

Most posts are done in good faith and that is something that we will all need this season.

Let us keep this MB good humoured and enjoy it for what it is!!

People need to both grow some balls and have some respect for each other. The spirit of this forums will always over power the minority who cause discontent.

I think it looks fine. In fact I'm just glad we got rid of the bogey black away kit from last year!

When having conversation you take on board the manor it which it is said and the context it was mean in .


I think the problem could be sometimes when things are written down and in jest, they do not always come across that way ,once written down it is all to black and white,there is no taken it back, and can look awful when read by others,who then jumps to the defense of those they thought have been wronged. Sometimes members are trying to be ironic and it comes across badly

Just for the record I am totally against any sort of racism,of all sorts (including picking on the English for being English) attacking people for their sexuality.

And don't forget this is the silly season, for us football fans, we are bored.

Eddie tbh we made a regular contributor of posts Glammy74 a mod a couple of weeks back and at present we feel there are enough mods who are doing a good job, but if they slack ......
