How refreshing is it

That we are buying young hungry talent that we can improve for the future. Usually it's us getting rid of our young stars. It's nice to see a manager looking for the future rather than for just the one season. Things are finaly looking up for us :ayatollah:

My worry is that people will get on there backs if they make a mistake.

Now I never rated Matthews however the stick he got from fans by me when he made a mistake was bad considering he is or was at the time 17

Yeah a lot worse, jones answered a question about him truthfully. It's not jones fault Matthews wasn't good enough.
He was verbally abused when he played an made a mistake by fans.

What !!! Jones was a bully who destroyed Matthews. Matthews was to slight to be a defender but would of made a fantastic Winger. Jones was out of order and i am glad the barrel of goose fat has gone. IMO

Fair enough, I just don't see a place for him last season, maybe on the bench for some games.

It's refreshing to see the vast majority of members on the forum in such positive spirits.

MM and the Malaysians have done a lot to lift the mood of the supporters after the kick in the nuts we experienced at the end of last season. I can't wait for the season to start now. I really can't.
