MM on the attack.

None of the strikers MM has signed or been linked with are Targetmen.

Is MM building a team to really have a go at teams with speed. A team where when we attack we keep the ball on the deck and run at defenders. I know from reading Watford forums MM likes to have the fittest team in the league and keep the ball in play and on the move for the full 90+minutes to break teams down and catch them unaware.

That would be a refreshing change as opposed to hoofing the ball up to Jay for 90 minutes.

Peter Thorne out of retirement and we would be up as champions :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I think Parkin will figure more this season, but I still think he will be coming off the bench. If MM is sticking with his Watford style of being fit, closing teams down quickly and keeping the ball in play, I can't see Parkin starting.

Earnshaw may have to feed of the midfield passing balls through for him to run onto.

If you mean a targetman to hoof the ball up to i'd agree

but i do think we'll have someone big up there, good in the air
and who can hold the ball up. Maybe Parkin can be that man?
None of us had a clue about Cowie til he'd signed. I reckon
Monsuir Mackay still has at least three more to sign, and thats
not including Mason or Gunnarsson :ayatollah:

we never had a target man last season anyway

bothroyd has a 50 p coin head and falls over more times than flicking the ball forward
