Ridsdales hacking claim

Can anyone remember at the time this went on he accused a member of staff that he was passing information onto the papers and sacked him didn't he..? Does that mean that the person in question could sue for wrongful dismissal..?

No. It would appear the person dismissed was also being paid by NotW for leaks. The problem was not hacking so much as these leaks, one of which was the e-mail which of course was considered private.
