THE HALF-TIME TEAM TALK

Sat Jan 30, 2010 11:44 pm

I asked Hudson what was said as he went and joined them, DJ apparently laid in to them for not finishing off Doncaster and called some of them lazy bastards.
But there you go they came out the second half not as good in my opinion.

he does lose him temper then, the way our 2nd half perfomances usualy are, i had visions of the players strolling about having a chat, checkin them selves in the mirror, while DJ and TB enjoy a cuppa! DJ showed shit loads of passion away at bristool city in the cup and that was good to see! seems to have fallen back to his old habits though!

He dosent just lay into the supporters wek in week out then, the players get it to. First half they wasnt lazy bad finishing yes lazy no. Second half lazy yes there body language just wasn't right, but we won so i will take that. :ayatollah:

Have any of you noticed that when the team cocks up he refers to the players as "they" yet we win and it's "us".

From what I've heard the changing room is not a pleasant place to be after a bad performance.

DJ doesn't show much emotion in interviews etc, but that's probably just his personality or dislike of the press but he let's it out in the changing room by the sounds of it! I know a couple of the under 18 lads try and steer clear

DJ showed no emotion at our winner. None whatsoever. Now I know he is not a 'fan', but you would have thought just the relief of getting a win would have caused some reaction. As much as I hate Forest (Gunter & Billy DAvies in particular), Davies always shows his emotions and celebrates WITH his team....

I know nearly every management in the Club do, I will ask a certain player who is coming for lunch in a minute.

I know people say players must look at the boards, but I can't imagine many actually do. Especially if they have to register, can't be very good for their confidence having small minorities slagging players off even if it isn't the view of the majority.
it could probably be tempting to check every now and again, but would have thought the majority would have no real desire.

Yes he Loves living down here but just wants a chance, a couple of starts, not subs. You cant prove your self as a sub.

I agree, going to be hard though with Jay, Ross and Chops scoring recently. I can sense a Feeney winner at Chelsea though :ayatollah:
