Never fished there am a member of NAA but my son is a member of Glamorgan Anglers and fishes the Taff regular and has probably fished there. I will have to ask him. Sounds good that may give it a try. Is it available on a day ticket or is it a free stretch?

The taff is nothing like the Wye my biggest barbel to date from the belmont stretch is 8 LB 3 Oz. (ON MEAT) tried the different approach as everybody was fishing pellet! Hemp and meat give yourself a treat

I wasn't on the belmont sidego to pauls tackle i think it is right in town centre, he will draw you a map and everything where to park etc...... of course if you dont ask you dont get! really nice guy and very helpful.
The pegs are better on the belmont side![]()
