Craig Thomson, who plays for Hearts in the SPL, has been put on the sex offenders register for five years for preying on underage girls on the internet.

Thomson pleaded guilty to lewd, libidinous and indecent behaviour after engaging in sexual conversations with the girls, aged 12 and 14, by chatting with them over Facebook, email and webcams.

He was also fined £4,000 and successfully pleaded not guilty to a similar charge involving a third girl.

The abuse he's going to get during games will hopefully make him realise what a beast he is. I know a few Hearts fans and they want him out the club. There's talk of fans boycoting and not renewing season tickets uless this nonce is booted out.

It has been said that he has known the family for years and was a visitor to their house for six years. It may have been in today's Sunday Mail, I've yet to read that.
