40 of them on the train Sludge. They went to the Philharmonic then upto the Borough where they were escorted to the ground. It was quite rough up there for the return game. They can pull a decent mob on their day and for those interested, definitely one of the best dressed firms. There will be a bit of argy bargy up there for the cup game. Places like Oxford, Colchester and Northampton were always dodgy if you took them for granted

30 of us left the Sixfields at 3-1 down straight into the best toe to toe in years at the playoff semi. The Friday night game in 92-93 at their old County ground was shady afterwards

we were outside the ninian when oxford were escorted down the thing that stuck in my mind was the look of terror on one of their lads face when pongo was having a word in his ear
the same season bradford turned up with a similar outcome outside the ninian

before the play off game in northampton 5 of us were approched by around 20 of their mob outside a pub. i thought this was it we were going to have it big time. their main man was a short arse who was balding on top but was trying his hardest to grow a bob (could not take the guy serious  ). there was a lot of verbal and pushing then in the distance we could hear the shout in a valley accent COME ON THEN (how many times has that happened  ) and the cavalry arrived. needless to say baldy and his mates didnt hang around... well would you with a size 11 dap up your arse
the scrapping on the banking during the game was very entertain to the rest of us who were stopped leaving the ground
MAD DAYS :ayatollah:

Another incident i'll never forget (84/85 ish) was when they had roadworks on the corner of the Ninian pub, with temporary traffic lights. Anyway, it was a really hot day and there were loads of us outside the pub when a coachfull of Huddersfield lads approached on the way to the ground. They were all stood up gesturing and giving it large, then suddenly as they pulled alongside the pub, the lights turned red. The triangle men at work sign went through one of the coach windows first followed by an array of other missiles. I do'nt remember if there were any old bill about while all this was going on, But the coach took a real pounding.

I followed them down Tudor Street and they were a right bunch of wankers. Giving Nazi salutes to any blacks or asians they saw.

They were game as f**k mind. They didn't back down even thought they were well out numbered!
