His stats are not brilliant (33% win ratio) but lets face it he had no budget at all with Watford. Now we will see if he can do it with a half decent budget. He talked about understanding the passion and commitment in this part of the world and of the fervour of the fan base and that he cannot wait to lead the team out at the CCS.

He has everything that has been missing for a long time, Passion and agression something I believe all managers should have look at Harry Rednapp a total Gent but rub him up and he has a rant and hates losing you only have to look at Wenger Fergurson David Moyes all shouting and having a go as they do not want to lose and have a passion.

Lennie didnt have it or Jones I honestly thought Jones didnt give a toss by his attertude sometimes however I know you can not have a manager with passion alone and this guy we got Mackay seems to be the one for me he will give us passion is known to be a bit aggressive (players wont want to upset him) and he is well liked and respected in the football world.

Completely agree, no one with any authority on football has hailed this appointment as anything other than great. He wasn't my first choice, but he was easily second and a very close second at that.
