As looks likely to happen MM will join CCFC, yes it is great for our club but what about the supporters of Watford?
I, as a supporter of over 45 yrs have seen the highs and the lows of having watched CCFC, and there have been far more lows than highs, I would like to thank DJ for how far this club has come during his tenure, who would have thought three Wembly apperances, with the highlight being the F.A cup final, if he were a bit more adventurous on that day who knows
Back to the Watford fans, MM signed a 3.5 yr contract to manage the club but for whatever reason he decides to jump ship and come to CCFC, great for us (time will tell) but do you feel any empathy with the Watford supporters? Probably a lot of you out there don't give a toss as long as we are ok, and this seems to be the mentality with a lot of footie fans.
What are your thoughts and feelings towards the supporters that he has left? Who knows this could happen to us if we get to the PM.

No time to think about other teams. Do you think they care when something goes against us? It's the nature of this sport, everyone looks after their own.

You have to feel for the Watford fans, but who's fault is it his was able to leave, ours or the WFC board?. Contracts are clearly worthless these days so when he gave him a new contract a few months ago you would have thought they would have included clauses in it, which would have made it very hard to walk away or that he had to compensate them or something if he did. The problem is though, if someone quits there's nothing really you can do about it, hence the reason they let him speak with us as they will now get some money. Not right i know but until the FA or someone sorts it out, it will just continue. Not much loyalty in football anymore ( apart from Martinez, but i bet he got a huge payrise out of it)

Wasn't laughing at all to be honest, we've got more reason to dislike Reading than you lot - they did exactly what you've just done 2 years ago, which is the only reason Malky got the job in the first place.
It's not like it's the first time it's happened to us, and it certainly won't be the last. The problem is with the amount of money in football these days, it's populated with mercenaries who just take what they can then leave as soon as more money comes along. This one hurt more than most, as Malky told us on taking over that he wouldn't do what Brendan Rodgers did. He also criticised Brenda heavily for trying to poach our players after he left.
Hey ho. I hate football.

Yes it must be terrible for them and they have my sympathy so close to the start of the season; but what's worse ... to have a manager somebody wants or to have a manager nobody wants?
