My last post for a while me thinks...

Guys. I enjoy this board, Iv had some realy good chats with people on here including Annis about Football. Its a briliant FOOTBALL FORUM, with lots of opinions and debates.

Theres always been division between here and the other channel but its never been so bad, in fact its getting worse.

Im not taking sides either way to be honest because from what I can see there are people on both forums who need to chill out.

The problem is since Jones was sacked this Forum has gone into overdrive with its attacks on Gethin Jenkins, the board, the appointments of a new manager, the supporters trust. Annis/Carl/Mods, come on guys you have to admit its beyond a joke now.

I honestly feel that you are in serious danger of alienting yourselves from the majority of our fans. This place was good to try and here the latest news, when I first hered about AAMB, it was people texting me stuff and saying just been on AAMB now people I speak to are saying that the forum is damaging and that it is a joke, no doubt fueled by what is peddaled on the other boards, but nevertheles sometimes true.

Please take this in the context it is meant, im not attacking anyone, Im a forum member and enjoy the board and like to contribute when it comes to Football but It feels like the board is getting overtaken with personal agenda's. Honestly, thats how I see it.

i find it sad, but i know where your coming from. I agree with certain points, certain people and all bickering between GROWN men is getting on my tits to. I come on here to have a laugh with mates that i have made at supporting Cardiff City. I very rarely post anything serious, but people do take things to serious, no one is going to change the world over a football messageboard.

This is the best football forum on the planet.

Like with most things, success and people bring changes in culture and dynamic.

This board will continue to grow because of its strengths and because of that - the changes are unavoidable.

How would you expect the mods to police the change in culture? Its just not possible.

I try to avoid reading the negative garbage and just concentrate on getting involved in the really good discussion - of which there is still plenty to read!!!

Very very true mate. It IS a messageboard. I come on here for a bit of banter and cos
the updates are GENERALLY bloody good and spot on. Its nice to know whats going on
at your Club. But Carl now finds himself in a position where he feels he HAS to get an
update out, cos people are clamouring for it!! Carl does not sit in the boardroom, and
is not sat in the Managers office when he picks the team. His info is second hand, we
all know that, but its generally very reliable and ALWAYS honest. Sadly, many 'people'
have an agenda now. Instead of waiting to find out if everything he says is true, they
are crossing their fingers that he's wrong. Pathetic. The PMG/Sam/Jenkins/DJ etc etc
issues have got out of hand, thats obvious. But its this obsession with CCMB and theirs
with this board that is most derisive. The 'sniping' issues are frankly ridiculous!!

Why?? because every time someone logs onto this board its another hit, its another tick
in the box. So every time one of the 'enemy' posts on here, or even just reads posts they
are showing the WWW that AAMB is a winner, and every time someone goes on CCMB
they are doing the same!.... Maybe the way forward is for all those who prefer this
board to keep off the other one altogether?? I never use it. Not slagging it off at all but
this board is a bit more 'earthy'... my kind of thing!!

So stay off CCMB lads, unless you can read and post on both without getting wound up over
something printed on the internet. If the usual suspects come on here slagging posts
down and shit-stirring.. dont answer, they will soon stop f*cking about. At the end of
the day, this is an informative board and sometimes its a good laugh, if you all want to
keep it going, lets get the issues back to the football etc.

"What the other board is saying" should be subject matter banished forever, cos why the
f**k should anyone care? If they are talking about this board, it means they've been on it!!!

Therefore, you wont have people browsing on here and then running of elsewhere to tell tales.

Lets read into that one then:

He came here with no experience of Football, brought onto the board
by the Rugby buggers. There's a subject thats not going to be ignored.

He banned books from the Club shop that even Potato head aint got a
problem with. There's another subject

But there are plenty on here that are happy with the job he's doing.
And they say so. As long as it stays like that. Mature debating, then
there's no problem is there?

I definitely wanted him out. But if we are in the top three approaching

There is def No agenda against GJ, I and many others felt and I still feel he was to inexperienced to look for our New manager, we cant all be like sheep and just agree with you to make you happy

This is my first post, first MB i've joined! - came on cos it appeared far better than others. I've been searching for news since DJ went and ended up coming here loads of times to see if 'Carl' the mystic had any news. I then went through the board topics and some great posts. Agree with the crap that comes on too, but that can't be helped (people are people). Looking through the posts we have a good mix here, young/old, scarfers/lads and a mix of fans who seem to love the City. keep it up and keep the faith brothers.

this is the first time i've been on my toes about City since the Blackpool final. I have been waiting all season for the egos to go and a fresh start to happen. we may have to go back to go forward but hopefully we are all (club and fans) wiser for the experience.

Its a message board. I've read some absolutely absurd stuff, I've definitely posted it and you've definitely thought the same but, its a message board and thats that. Nothing to start crying over. Have a laugh, some posts have cracked me up tbf and make friends and possibly meet up for a pint before games or go to games with that make amazing trips away and things you can remember for years to come
