CARDIFF CITY HONOURED IN EUROPE

Cardiff City Football Club were honoured on Wednesday June 15 in Barcelona, collecting the coveted Customer Experience award at the Stadium Business Summit and awards ceremony staged at the Nou Camp.
The award recognised extended efforts in the family experience on a match-day and follows our proud achievement of being named Family Club of the Year 2011 late last season by the Football League.
The award category Cardiff City were shortlisted in was for Customer Experience - covering a stadium, arena or major sports venue that has delivered consistently outstanding levels of customer service. Also on the shortlist were Liverpool FC and Manchester City FC among others.
Of the award, chief Executive Gethin Jenkins said, "On behalf of Cardiff City Football Club I would like to place on record our thanks and appreciation to all of our supporters and stadium staff in playing a vital role in this achievement. Being recognised alongside such high calibre peers shows how far the club has come and motivates us all further to keep up the hard work.
"We now aim to continue our efforts in maximising the match-day of all Cardiff City fans and visitors, covering a range of demographics and needs. As always any improvements will be implemented following full consultation with our supporters. We should all be proud of what has been accomplished."

Someone at Cardiff City is doing a hell of a job for us. People might say that this is not what football is about but the children are the future, teach them well and let them lead the way I say.

Agreed. Its things like this that will lead to our attendances being massively boosted when we do go up

They obviously didn't see the argy bargy at times between supporters and stewards
