We'll end up finding some assistant or youth team coach, someone with no managerial experience at all (like we've done with the last 4 managers in a row). If we're lucky, they'll do well for a year or two, and be poached (again). If not we'll end up playing our local rivals sooner than any of us ever wanted.
To us, Malky wanting to leave is an indication that the new owners are probably not going to be good for the club. It's a highly depressing situation, all we wanted was a period of stability. 7 managers in 10 years is awful. Not to mention 4 different chairmen & 5 different owners.....
Oh well. For the gamblers amongst you best get on the odds for Watford as relegation candidates, I think this year we won't disappoint.

several things i agree with and others i dont.
no way we will get DJ, overpriced and we are skint as it is. it will be someone like mackay and rodgers who will then leave in a couple of years.
however....
malky wanting to leave smacks of disloyalty really, i think that personally he has seen a payday and jumped at the opportunity. i dont think the way the club is currently being run is of a massive disappointment to him. we are trying to make the club sustainable. the watford supporters seem to be in two camps regarding our new owners. i am all for giving them a chance and as of yet in mind they have not done anything wrong and have generated a fair bit of income. however some supporters, perhaps anotherhornet falls in this category, really dislike Bassini and are especially dubious of his business past (he has been bankrupt previously), and seem to have a go at every opportunity.
also i dont think we are relegation candidates, we have a good young squad and i think we will probably surprise again this season if we can get in a striker or two, a midfielder and a left back (its been so long since we had one im beginning to think that they dont exist).
