Problem with that is you need to connect to the Xbox live service for updates and all that and play online, they'll be able to tell if anything has been tampered with the machine and ban the MAC address of the xbox from their live services. You could still play games but not online or update it.

ive been fine so far. its a fare comment. but ive had 2 updates and im fine all ive had to do is re-flash it once aslong as evrything is patched ok youll be fine. ive been fine for about a year now online aswell nearlly everyday....... yes im sad
as ive said back-up copies dont get me wrong dont do anything illegal!!! well at your risk.
