Greetings from the Llyn Peninsula

Thu Jun 16, 2011 11:40 am

It really is Gods garden up here, breathtakingly beautiful, everywhere we go, great beaches quaint villages we are followed by the giant backdrop of the Snowdonia mountains.

But bloody hell, not being judgemental (brought up on an Ebbw Vale housing estate and all) but what an invasion of Manc tourists, nearly all toothless, badly dressed, illiterate, cheap jewellry wearing breadheads. Add to that crap parents and poor personal hygiene, some of course are really nice but they are the minority, they are everywhere! One of the local traders told me they are royalty compared to the scousers!

Have been in some shops where they dont speak English only Welsh, one shopkeeper in Pwllhelli didnt know any English!!! Bet the above mentioned had a nightmare buying rizzla!

Having always done Snowdonia pretty much every year, we thought we would do the Llyn this time, its wild, craggy, and feels literally your at the tip of Wales looking down. Abedarron, Porthdynllaen, are my favourites so far. Off to Bardsey Island and the Ffestiniog mountain steam railway next. My one year old is having a great time. And I have been off the liquor, my heads never felt clearer with this sea and mountain air, I loves it mun!

Anyway found a wifi zone, and cant believe the shambles I am reading still no manager! Shearer!! Bloody hell, whats going on? If no manager in place by the time I am home then I will apply! I know hope its Mackay or Hughes.

Thanks Milly for the text update on the CCS comings and goings! I know one thing - WE NEED EXPERIENCED, MODERN GAME FOOTBALL MEN AT THE HELM AT CCS, if we did, we would have moved in the transfer market already because they would have hired a manager by now. Gethin I like, but not for a decision or interview process as important as this!

Take it easy, enjoy the holiday. It's all under control. We are talking to Malky Mackay. The players are all still on holiday. Pre season friendlies are being arranged, we're away to Oxford in the League Cup. Fixtures are out tomorrow. Chill out.

Anything about CCFC in the Daily Post ?
