Buying your way out of a fine mess stanley

Large compo to Watford when another " free" could have been selected .

Another Malaysian loan to the club ?

Good start to the season more debt ! More loans.

Bet the plan is to stitch jones on his next 12 months payments.

Will they put the forensic football manager on this case ?

You really should go and see someone about your bitterness. It's getting very boring

The alleged £300,000 is the exact amount to purchase grow lamps for our pitch!!!!!!

300k for a new manager or 25m for a third party owned player who kept you in the Prem for a few season more than deserved...

You pair need to get a life! Mackay will do a fine job, you really are talking peanuts of compensation in the great scheme of things, Dayo so we are an extra £300k in debt out of £30m that is 1% of the debt, I am usually the pessimistic one but you pair have won that particular race

I doubt we'd let Malky go for such a small amount, bearing in mind this is the 2nd time in 2 years someone's tried to steal our manager. Reading had to pay a huge amount for Rodgers so expect to pay at least double that amount.

I honestly don't know why your club want him so much, he's invaluable to us at the moment but that's mostly due to the fact that we desperately need a period of stability (6 managers in 10 years, could soon be 7 in 10). You'll end up sacking him by Xmas!

I don't accept that Ruislip whatsoever. He hasn't done anything as a manager not even been promoted at any stage which is worrying and to be hnonest what the Watford fans are saying on here is also worrying me.

I'm only going by the poll u created TBH

MM (Malky Mackay) = FF (fans favorite)

And he really should know better. Last time he was bad-mouthing our club, he had a little reminder of what can happen when you do that sort of thing - in a certain club in town after the Leicester play-off game. Even his lawyer turned a blind eye...

I'd be furious if it's only 300k. He's worth way more than that to us. We don't have the luxury of rich owners to attract a half-way decent replacement, so we'll end up with someone's assistant or a youth team coach with no managerial experience, just like we've done with the 4 previous managers.

Daya is not everyones cup of tea (to put it mildly) but he does make me giggle.

Knows exactly what to say and how to say it to get a response.

By the way, I have never met or spoken to the guy.

Don't disagree that it'll put is more debt but our debt compared to Liverpools, Man u's, west ham's, Birminghams and many others is small fry. And with the Malaysians in charge they could if necessary clear the debt, unlike under previous owners. That's why clubs like the above are able to carry on, if necessary the debts could be payed one way or the other. What my point is that there's a bitterness there all the time and life is just too short to be bitter. We are just fans whether we like it or not and unless you have enough money to buy the club then you just have to let the owners get on with it.
