Well so far we've gained more points than we ever did under DJ so its safe to assume we are a better side than then

On the other hand you could argue, The Championship is stronger than it's ever been, more teams with Prem experience than ever before , the 3 teams that came down with their parachute payments haven't managed a place in top half of table at mid point.
Maybe it's the fact that The Premiership is not what it's made out to be?![]()
Let's face it the two teams that sneaked through the playoffs the last two seasons are doing ok, can't be that hard to succeed up there?

Now we are getting somewhere.
Usually the relegated teams are up there. Well that was the case until 2 seasons ago. Excluding West Ham the teams that have come down in the last 2 seasons have not really done much. West Ham came down with Blackpool and Portsmouth where the laters are well off it now.The 3 teams that came down last season, Blackburn, Wolves and Bolton are all in the bottom half and look like going no where. Thats proof enough to show how poor the premier has been and I wonder how many of the lower premier sides dread the possibility of dropping to the championship knowing they will remain there for many a season.
I'm not going to answer the question if we are good enough or not because I seem to upset the happy clappers on here

Basically, I stand with 9 mates behind the goal and when i was watching the pre-season games i thought we'd be in a relegation battle this season because in my opinion we looked shit at the back, in the rest of the team something wasn't right & our squad was tiny! A few of the boys disagreed and thought we could go up!
Anyway, after our great start to the season im now looking like a MUG! But times are starting to change and i think teams are seeing us for who we really are .................... OK at best!
