I didnt want Chops to go but I think stripping back the squad is a good idea.
It means the new manager can build his own team with his own type of players and it also means we can drop back the wage bill to a realistic amount compared to our turnover which would need to be done in the coming seasons anyway http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13724949.stm

Bloody hell. We really do need to strengthen - we look like relegation fodder. But I'm confident we'll get a few decent players in and I'll be feeling more optimistic. Need the manager sorted fast.
