Robert Earnshaw

Robert Earnshaw (born on 6 April 1981) is a Wales international football player. He is a striker presently playing for Nottingham Forest. He is the only player to have scored a hat-trick in the English Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two (or the divisions under their previous names), the League Cup, the FA Cup and for his country at International level. Sounds good to me, I would love him back. And he is only 29/30 not really a veteran yet is he.

I could see him working with Parkin. In my circa 13 years of watching city regular , earnie and Thorne have been best striking partnership. Think he would work well playing off parkin. Looked like he could still do the business in this league when he came on last 20 against jacks.

Sorry mate but I disagree. I saw nothing in Parkin, other than his wonder goal against Norwich. He is a back up player at best. If he is one of our 2 first choice strikers then we are aiming for mid-table at best.

Earnie and Peter Thorne were great but that was a league lower than this. If we get Earnie(I hope we do!) then we need someone better than Parkin and Peter Thorne IMO. :ayatollah:
