My answer would be yes Earnie can still do a job for us in this division yes he's getting on but IMO he's still sharp in the box and has got a lot of experience at this level and I'm sure would play with pride and passion for the club he played for and supported also with Bellers on board that's two home grown players who will try their damndest to get our club into the premier league

Defo, love to see Earnie back in our shirt. He is almost out of contract and I personally think if Ipswich up their offer on Chopra to £1.5mill then we should let him go and bring in Earnie to replace him. I think Earnie has more pace power and definitely looked sharper at the back end of last season.

Agree, all depends on the new manager and if he feels the same, we'll soon see.

On my own here, but I doubt it, his best days are behind him, anyway Bellamy has already replaced Chopra, we need a replacement for Bothroyd first, then a versatile striker to play with either, when injured or as a plan B..........

Nope. earnies getting older now losing pace his conditioning isn't as great , he's been used as a super sub for many years now never quite regarded as the first name on the team sheet also chopra has a better first touch and finish.
chopra goin is a shit move and a loss of profit. BIG fail
by the time we get a manager the only players who will be left on a free will be unreliable, cack or a gamble
