PUSSY FOOTING!

Jenkins the EGG is pussy footing with our club, I personally think the Malaysians should fook him off and get someone who knows about football and install them as 'Director of Football' to oversee everything. Jonesy went over 2 weeks ago and we still haven't got a manager, how many more are they going to interview surely they could see by their CV's if they are suitable and then pull in the top ones out for a final interview at specific times of the day. Lets say they could fit in at least 3 a day and if they cant make that day give them an alternative day. Whenever I went for an interview for a job , they stipulated a time and day I had to be there.

This delay in choosing a manager, is costing us precious time in building our team ready for the season. And we are also missing out on some of the best players from this division and League 1 as they are being snapped up by our competitors.

Im pretty sure that Jenkins would be consulting with the Malaysians about the new manager. So surely if they had a problem with how long it was taking, they would have made him move faster. Players are still on holiday so I don't see a rush.

I really don't think it's down to Gethin Jenkins, due to the nature of the situation he must liaise and take orders off people who are not here day to day and that's just how it is. I have heard a whisper that the club are using lennie lawrence in an advisory capacity in their search for a manager, and i see that as a positive,Lennie as got loads of contacts and experience in the game and if he is involved then that will be of advantage to us.

We may be impatient, but let's get the right man and for the right reasons.

I think people need to get off the Board's back. Including Gethin.

I also don't believe that Gethin is dragging his feet. The Malaysians want to ensure that they make the right decision so we must trust them, they have not let us down yet so let's just let them do the right thing in their eyes.

Trouble is look how many players have already gone to new clubs this season whether they are on holidays or not, usually their agent acts on their behalf and then all the final details are sorted out when they return. And if Jenkins is consulting with the Malaysians its all done via video link which they could use while the person is being interviewed.

It was only a week ago everyone was getting on Jenkins/Malaysians/Cardiff Citys back for
not sacking Jones/making positive statements etc

Then we were told that Jones was sacked and the Langstone and PMG debts had been 'resolved'
or at the very least were no longer threatening the Clubs future!

Rome was not built in a day, and if it had been, it would have fallen down within 24hrs

What an absurd post. How many positions where you are looking for the most important person in the organisation rush to get someone in? Unless of course they've created the poisition specifically for someone! Comparing the interviewing for a manager who is likely to be on £500k plus with your experiences at interview either means you're a surgeon or it's not relevant!

If takes a few more days or even a week, what real difference does it make?
