Gutted, was so good here but he did struggle this season compared to last season! could beat his marker so easy and whip in a cracking cross! Let's hope a good replacement comes in that can do the same but has the pace Burkey never did!

But he was outstanding in some games last season.

It was a fact he's got a boy in Scotland and wanted to be nearer him and was heading that way until Brum stepped in with what must be a big offer. No, because Burke has his eyes set on returnign back to Scotland, plus he hadn't been as good as he used to be so probably might not have deserved one, I'd rather his MASSIVE ASKING PRICE WAGES(Remember, that he asked for), be spent on an energetic former Burkie who was speedie, took on his man etc.

And no, I am by far a Dave Jones fan boy

Best of luck to the lad, One of the best wingers I have witnessed down the city when he was on his game awesome.

To be honest I don't see him breaking into their team with Sebastian Larsson there. Burkey was a 100%er but I think we can do better than him and we need better than him to be able to go that extra step further. However, I will never forget Middlesbrough away last season, when Burkey didn't just put in an outstanding performance, it was a world class performance. But he is a confidence player so when he's warming the bench at Birmingham, that will affect his confidence straight away and I don't see him doing much there at all to be honest. I think he may actually be on the decline and we have got rid of him the correct time, just a shame we couldn't get a fee for him. But I wish him well.
