If Dave Jones had been less of an arse ?

Most probably not,,,but he alienated himself with not only the fans, but also the media & probably more than a few of the players as well. Its almost as if he really didn't want people to like him on purpose.

If he had been more amicable with the fans, didn't treat us with contempt and didn't add to a holier than though attitude of the club then yes I think most would have given him one more season.

Basically he was a prick and people were fed up of his attitude, I think we have come a long way but his, "I've been through a child abuse scandal so only my opinion counts attitude" got to everyone eventually.

Absolutely spot on and a brave statement to say.

The majority of us, wish I could say all of us, supported DJ when he was reminded of this episode of his life when opposing fans chanted pedo comments. I recall this happening at Forest when the home fans started the pedo comments so us Cardiff just sang "Davey Jones Barmy Army". DJ comented on this and praised the Cardiff fans for their support.

However this year I think it was when things were not going good on the pitch DJ complained about us fans moaning and said something of the nature, "we think we have it hard but if you want to know what is hard go through what I went through", obviously referring to the allegations of pedo acts. I thought it was a strange thing to say and if I am honest it as the first sign of me seeing DJ did not give a damn about the fans.
