in the bbc report said "Watford manager Malkay Mackay has also emerged as a stronger contender, but the Hornets have released a statement saying that no "official approach for the services" of their manager has been received."

Read SSN Makay didnt have permission from Watford, but is believed to have still had an interview at Cardiff City.

Remember he is fed up with Watford, they are selling all his best players.

i honestly think the board has made their mind up and we have our man, they will want to interview everyone on their shortlist so they leave no stone unturned and be double sure that its hughton they want

I dont want Mackay, I believe we got to have a manager who has recently managed in the premier league and for me thats Chris hughton and Roberto Di Matteo, so I believe one of these two managers will be with us next season.

I see Alan Shearer is now 8/1 in paddy power same odds as Di Matteo
