Heard today that the USA manager has thrown himself into the ring to become our next manager

I'm not sure he'd have the contacts or knowledge to assemble a good squad at this level on the budget were likely to have. Much more likely he'd end up at Villa. Wasn't he close to going there before Houllier, or maybe Villa approached him?

Hmmmm interesting, I like him but not my first choice and maybe too big a risk for where we are now
