Have to laugh at the Jack Support

Sat Jun 04, 2011 1:19 pm

My belief of how small a club the Jcks are were confirmed by my neighbour who is a Jack,
the last few years he has had an Ospreys car sticker, never really bothered talking about footie,
however, Wembley this year, off he went with his family,
last night he told me that he had queued from 4am to get a season ticket for the Jacks next season, I asked him if he would renew if they got relegated-of course not was his reply....
think they are on a par with Blackpool fans.
Just confirmed to me that Cardiff City are the biggest club in Wales,

To be quite frank - I didn't even need to read that to know that we are the best supported Welsh club. Next season we will get a higher attendance single gate -and- a higher average attendance as well. And they know it!!

Try living in Port Talbot, listenning to their constant crap.....most of these so called Jacks have never been to a Swansea game, had one fan trying to wind me up.....who couldnt even name a player in current Jack team, still thinks Lee Trundle is playing for them.....when I tried to explain he is playing for Neath....he turned around and called me a plastic Cardiff fan. Couldnt stop laughing after that.

it does make you realise how special our club is, doesnt it ?
and how pathetic they truly are

cant wait for next season to start

I cant wait for next season, a right manager, and positive player attitude, something which we can be proud off, and looking at the team now, I think we got that, apart from Chops (who needs a good manager), I'm looking forward to next season.

I love Cardiff, i think our fans are great, been through the good times, and the bad times, and we're still standing. This is loyalty support!!!!!! Cant wait for the pre-season games. :ayatollah:

The only ones i feel sorry for are the real Jack fans, where the club attendances will be hijacked by plastics, who wont know the traditions of the club, which will drive down their matchday experience.

It goes without saying, but no matter how bad it makes us feel, Swansea are in the top flight on merit. The relative success we had under Hammams'tenure galvanised everyone connected to Swansea City. I hope the hurt of them being the first welsh club in the premier spurs Cardiff City on. I'm sure it will and soon enough we'll be back as Wales'number one. Until then, let's accept it and move on

Correct .... but cant see the Malaysians and Jenkins pulling it off. Couldnt even afford Big Sam. going for cheap options around the 200k mark --- gambling already.

There were two managers who gained promotion to the top flight that were in the'200k'a year gamble bracket too mate. Throwing big money at it doesn't always work

Hughton, Robins, Dematteo.

I'd have any of them, and if they only cost £200k then thats great.

Paying top whack for players and managers hasn't worked very well for us in the past few seasons and if they do it for relativel normal money perhaps they will be a bit hungrier to succeed.

Save the money to strengthen the squad.

Wasn't keen on Alladyce anyway, need a change now not a clone of DJ.

It doesn't matter what league you're in. We will still always be the bigger club and thats what is hurting them most. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
