Pleased or disappointed??

If you were a supporter of a different Championship or League 1 team and your team was looking to recruit a new manager, would you be disappointed if Jonesy were the choice of your board of directors and was given the job? Forget all the politics about the man's personality and preffered playing formations, going purely on his achievments with the City would you be excited or disappointed by the choice or maybe even neither disappointed nor excited? For me I think my expectations would be quite high considering how close he took us on 2 occasions but would be a bit apprehensive because of the eventual failure to get over that finishing line. He's worked with a shit budget and he's worked with a big budget so is capable of working at ambitious clubs and smaller clubs with less clout. I think it's only a matter of time before he gets himself another club, will he be a hit or a miss?

I'm not a Jonesy fan by the way just wondering how others feel about his possible next appointment and that clubs fans.

When he first arrives at clubs with a clean slate he does well but he has a definite shelf life. He'll do well to begin with wherever he ends up but he won't deliver long term success.

i reckon he'd do pretty damn well in the lower leagues..i reckon he can get a side to the prem...how ever..by starting from league 2. if he gains promotion in his first season at...shrewsbury (for example) then him and the players will have confidence to do it again, and again
