I think we all need to start respecting peoples OPINIONS!

I have to say I really enjoy reading & posting on this board, as it is a far more superior football board than many others! (my opinion of course!)

But lately some of the threads and posts are becoming tedious, insulting and in some ways discriminating!
I just want to reiterate a point that MOST of the threads and posts on this forum are OPINION based and not FACT!

When I see the word FACT anywhere on here, I see the words "pinch of salt!"

PLEASE PLEASE can we remember that when reading and posting we are responding to peoples OPINIONS - which they are ENTITLED TO! Any information or posts on this site should be respected as such and are replied to in a manner that you would like to be spoken in.

Whether the sensible opinions on this board come from Carl, Annis myself or any other member of moderators, or even it is a newly registered member with 0 post count, or even a Jack that wishes to contribute sensibly to any topic, then we respect them on the same level and are all treated equally!

The moderators of the board will stamp out on any users and their threads or posts that can not contribute in a way that satisfies the level of respect and courtesy that we'd all expect to receive here.

RIGHT THEN - SILLY SEASON HAS BEGUN!

and there's not alot really to talk about football wise regarding games! However,CCFC is going through both an exciting and nervous time at the moment and topic of discussion is still fairly high, but posts that generate a good level of interest and debate can and will be made as "STICKY" topics if deemed by moderators to be a popular thread. So there is your invitation people to get us some good topics going......

REMINDER! A good way to guage opinion on a forum is the availability of POLLS all users are able to make! They will generally give you a good idea from the majority of regular users - and a small percentage of fans.

This is a decent board to be fair. There does seem to be a good mix of young and older posters, a bit of humour and so on. I also like the fact that it has followed the same idea as the CCMB in that it only has the one discussion forum instaed of loads of different ones.
I like the updates although I think it's a good idea to take them with a large pinch of salt

a bit like when you read The Sun.

And I think on the whole, the vast majority respect other peoples opinions and bans don't seem to be handed out just for silly things like not agreeing with the moderators views. That shows maturity and respect by the mods.

i agree with you merlin regarding people's opinions, but what i dont understand people coming on here talking about other teams, this is a cardiff site not a swansea or west ham site

Because we were told by the owner its a site for all fans from all clubs ..... anyway whats your issue ? are you sad and jealous?

I recall during the Portsmouth home game some guy in 116 started the "Dave Jones Barmy Army" chant with the intention of belittling Annis. Wonder what that guy thinks now?
