I hope Bothroyd doesn't come back to be honest, unless he decides to stop being a baby.

A difficult one for me, as on their day, they can both be the best in the division.

I would keep them both.

This Season we need some steel in Central Midfield as we got over run game after game.

Bothroyd has scored 95 in 344 games @ 3.6 games per goal

There is no doubt that Chopra is the better goalscorer out of the two.

If the new manager sits Chopra down and tells him he is IN the plans but needs to have a great pre-season, lose weight and give 100% again, i think we might just have THE striker in the Championship next season.

If Chopra doesnt knuckle down then he gets shipped out at Christmas. That way Cardiff City could have what might almost be considered a new striker for nothing that blasts all before him.

I still think Chopra could be a massive player for us - not quite a Premiership striker but definately a Championship marksman of the highest order. I rate Chopra above Shane Long, but will the new manager be able to remotivate him?

Jay all day long!! Chopra is a past it fat drunk plus Jay is a far far far superior player! If we were talking about Chops 3 years ago then i would have gone for him but hes a disgrace these days and i will feel sick if i see him in a city shirt again! What a waste of talent!

Alot of ifs there for chopra, but you didn't do the same for Jay. Like if Jay has been brought down to earth and puts 100% every game, if Jay stays on his feet and takes players on, if Jay starts going in for 50/50 balls. If they both sorted them things out a would have the both as no defense would live with them.

Neither in my opinion. But if either end up getting another chance i hope they seize it. If either continue with there antics then i will be well pissed off along with a lot of others. We need a manager that will be a disciplinarian. In those thoughts Houghton bought harmony to the toon .

Chopra needs to start earning his money, and building bridges. Prove what a talent he was before its too late, instead of doing a Gazza.

Don't want either back. Chopra's personal issues, drink and gambling in my view have had a detrimental effect on his game. Bothroyd gave up on us halfway through the season and thought he could walk into a top Premier League club just because he bagged himself an England cap. Good players capitalise on things like that but I am afraid he didn't so not for me. No player is bigger than his club and so would not want either playing in a bloobirds shirt again.

Bothroyd. Better all-round player, faster, better in the air, more involved, more skill, better shot.

Just needs 2 good wingers so he stops getting dragged wide. Was the best crosser in the club.

Chops can still be a force if he sorts himself out though, but this'll be his last chance.

While they both started well, they have faded massively and both are not motivated by football anymore.

Bothroyd get lost and I have loved Chopra for a long time but he can go to.

very hard one to call they both got great attributes but in different ways but for me its about goals and im wid u a fit and sharp chopra will be like having a new signing so chops for me all day long!!! but i wd say id still like jay to be there but on our terms not his!!!!

I get the impression that jay bothroyd is quite imature...

approaching thirty yet he's harder than a teenager to handle..

he is big deffo high maintenance which in a sense is a glamour thing.

this is football not Hollywood - he's not doing himself many favours by slacking off for the sake of being talented

Would LOVE to keep both but tbh I think Bothroyd will be a lot harder to replace than people realise so for that reason id rather Jay.
