For dave jones, all the bye bye and get lost posts, although expected should now stop in my opinion, like i,ve said before i was never a "jones out" man until xmas this season when all the old familiar patterns started showing their ugly head. To me his best achievements at the club were his first 3 years when he stabilised the ship and kept us away from the relegation zone, i would like to thank him for that and wish him and his family good luck for the future, as for us, well it was the right thing to do, we must make sure the right man is brought in who can take the city to the promised land!!!!!

Also getting us to a play/off final despite spending nearly all season under a transfer embargo.
He has my full respect and wish him well.
I dont consider him a money grabber either, yes he was paid VERY well, to well but he is a human, why wouldnt he take the money. I would have done the same.

Jones has been a disrespectful, grumpy sourpuss over the last twelve months seldom ever showing the scouse wit he was capable of ie the twittergate interview from a few weeks ago. He has built a team that took us to brink twice and to the most memorable day out in over 80 years. For that he should be thanked. I wish him well in whatever he does next. I hope he finds footballing happiness. Hopefully the new appointment will command authority, show respect and get the whole club reunited with the fans and press alike and put this great club where it belongs
