Only a year left on his contract, an average season in 2010/11, an image as a problem player, surely we'd be lucky to get upwards of £750,000 ?
I think I'd probably move him on for that tbh.
Both the club and Chopra need a change, I think.

1 million

I'd be looking for double that to be honest.

Something around the £2million mark I reckon.

£2M, seems fair we could buy half a dozen hungry young players for that

it's the way to go!

Doubt if the club will see anything if Chopra is one of them mortgaged.

People will pay for proven goalscorers.
Look at the fees being bandied about for Jay in January, not a goalscorer and out of form with only 5 months on his contract.

half a larger and a packet of nuts

Be lucky to get 1m for him I reckon, if we did get 1m bid I would take it

Considering we bought him for 4 mil, we definitely shouldn't sell him for less than 2 mil.
But we need to keep Chops as if he went, it would only leave us with the beast up front! I'm backing Chops to find his best form next season!

Jay whatever happens we have made a profit on Chops already,as we got him from Newcastle £660,000 and then sold to Sunderland for £6,600,000,and then got him back for £4,136,000,according to his agents firms figures.

1 year left on contract.
Clubs know we've massive debts.
They'll lowball offers, obviously, we're in not position to hold out - should we add Chops to the list of players we get zero for?
