Ridsdale: Cardiff City's night in shining armour?

Evidence:
1) Put a package together that helped save the club on black friday
2) Succesfully defended the club from Sam and Langstone who would hapily have taken us under with their pursuit of the club in its court case
3) Kept the wolves from the door and 'juggled' the books/finance in order to force the club into being competative and challenging for promotion to the Premiership.
4) Kept things going by the skin of our teeth until the Mlayasians got involved.
Yes he might have got it wrong and overspent but he got us excited about the club because look at how the crowds grew over the time he was here. He delivered the stadium which has given us £60 million worth of assets. Assembled a team of talented players whose value is in the milions and challenging for the play-offs consistantly.
Yes he made some mistkaes but he's a footballing man. He's still involved in the game so knows the contacts to bring players in, he's also a good at negotiating contracts and he'd be able to inspire and motivate the team by keeping a keen and sterly eye over them. Look how the players jumped around him at the play-offs last season when we beat Leceister as well!!!
Again, for all his mistakes he took us to where we are today from languishing near the bottom of the championship to challenging for every season he's been here. The guy should be given some kind of life-time presidency at the club or a roll as the director of football. If we really need a footballing man then let him help on that front and keep him away from the finance

Gethin, VT and TG. You have my complete support. You are running the club and I trust you to run it efficiantly, with purpose and direction. Your businessmen and have billion dollar industries. If you've not got experience of turning your hands to various opportunities in order to make them a success then who has???? How easily have we forgotten these were the guys who got us Bellamy, Oli, Heaton, Keinan etc. Not footballing people??? well I for one trust and respect the job they've done so far and are continuing to do. Lets not be so disrespectful for what they have done and are doing!!!
let's stop all the posturing about former chairman, CEOs or whatever. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!!! The past is the past and that's where it should stay inregards to the previous administration of the club!!!

Ridsdale wasn't even with our club when black friday happened, he must be so good he solves problems at clubs he don't even work for, and we wonder how history get rewritten,wasn,t he responsible for curing small box as well.lol

hang on... wasn't black friday when Hammam had to sell the players etc because of the amount of debt he ran up and subsequently when PMG and Ridsdale took over????

History often get re-written when other previous chairmen are involved!

Didn't Sam bring him in after Black Friday ashe thought PR couild sort the mess out and get the stadium built?.
Which to be fair he did to an extent, but of course caused other problems afterwards..
So he did solve the immediate problem just not on the day.

It was quite a good few months after black friday before PR came along.but hey i'm sure he'll accept the accolades.
