Staying in Ashbourne this time, great spot and near Alton Towers, but also stay regularly in Leek which is a great location, the caravan and camping web site is the best place to look for sites, the smaller sites called CI sites are great and cheap as f**k.
Some great scenery around but some of the towns like Buxton, Bakewell, Matlock etc are a great visit.

Hi Gwyn, The company i work for Head Office is based in Cheddleton,Leek Staffs, Lovely part of the world. The old bad bit is driving past Stoke City's ground on the way in .
When we have sales meeting we usually stay at the three horseshoes near buxton.Lovely place which i would recommend for nice real ale and good digs. :ayatollah:

Spent a big part of the last ten years up and down stoke coz my 13yo boy lives up here with my ex. Must have stayed in every room in every hotel around here, but this year we bought a touring caravan and much better for chilling out and exploring the area. We in Ashbourne at mo on a great site, got a pool and its own pub and clubhouse, massive site tents and tourers but plenty of space and great walks for the dog, so my missus tells me.lol
