i hate the jacks but will admit

where we had a team of players that most dont or never gave a f**k about the club and its fans. swansea seem to have a way of getting everyone at the club to gel. you could swear the likes of tate , williams , dyer and even sinclair etc were born and bred within a 5 miles radius of the liberty. it pains me to say it but they have a team that actually give a f**k about the club. (except maybe pratley )

WHY??

Because they've got PASHUN and that gets you everywhere.

Oh, wait, no it doesn't. Step up Ian Holloway, relegated twice in the last three seasons of his managerial career. As that song off an advert went once "I see your true colours shining through" the facts show Olly's true colours. Pashun only gets you so far. A brain helps. A lot.

holloway didnt have much money to spend to maintain premiership football.

The fact Blackpool got 39 points when the majority didn't think they'd get 10 points is huge credit to Holloway.

Maybe it's because you are throwing large amounts of money at premiership players and trying to buy success? Maybe you should be looking towards keen and eager young passionate players with something to prove instead of those who couldn't care less about your club?

3 seasons ago Stoke went up with a team full of loan players.

City tried it but didn't have the right mixture and balance of players.

That has to be down to the manager mainly for not getting the right players in (Keogh, Naylor, Bywater for example) and failing to motivate the players.

Another factor that is perennial is the injury situation. Season after season we have injuries to key players. How many injuries have swansea had? It cannot be just bad luck.

A spring clean is needed for this club; it needs a really fresh management team and squad.

this statistic about Holloway having 2 relegations out of his last 3 seasons as a manager is very misleading, in my view.

1. This year - its a miracle that he got them to within 40 mins of remaining in the Premier League, given the lack of Money he had to deal with at Premier League level.

2. Leicester City 2007-2008 - that was before he decided that he needed a new style of football - the year out he had gave him that after he watched the way that martinez played football at Swansea! I'd agree though that if he hadn't changed, then he would be another one in the Dave Jones mould.

However, the other facts are that he got a Blackpool team out of this division to the premier League on a shoestring - the only thing I can see that takes away from his achievement is that he only had to beat a Dave Jones side of bottlers in the final, but still a massive achievement to get that far!

This year, the way they've played football, if he'd been able to have bought in some real class to bolster his squad, they would have stayed up in my view.

All in all, since his rehabilitation to playing good football, I think he's a great manager, and would take him every day of the week against the bottler we've got!

The players you mentioned are retards and wont be allowed to play in any other teams  Do tate ,pratley, dobie ect think if they win the play-offs they will play in the premiership. :P Brendan Rogers will soon have a clean out. :o

What makes you think Tate won't play in the premiership if we are lucky enough to get there? He is Mr Versatile and played in every division with us so far and hasn't let us down yet.

Give me a team of Alan Tates who give 100% to the club each week over a team of overpaid under achievers any day.
