Dave Jones - Cardiff City

2007,
F.A Cup Final
2008, 2009 - finished joint 6th (7th).. on goal difference Had it not been for injury problems we'd of been there effectively we racked in enough points.

2009/2010 - Play off Final , had it not been for players on the piss post semi final victory :? bothroyd might of lasted a whole game an we may of performed better who knows maybe not again same story as boro this season..

2010 - 2011 , currently Play off's , the Signing of craig bellamy, a milestone in modern club history and a massive step forward which has been fantastic

also jones had to twice savatage a good squad and start over due debt and both times come back with a strong squad.
lets look at lesser manager's in Lennie lawrence, and some of the signings he made, bullock, koskela, feretti, nsungu dave, darlington, campbell, and a others, half ended up playing non league if not close too it.

he's not the best manager in the world, but he has potential to get a team promoted we'v just been unfortunate upto now, we have blown some big opportunitys but we'v also had our fair share of bad luck and been edged out.

its not all down to jones I hope we can get to wembley just for the day out either way we will come back strong with or without Dave Jones

People say he has 6 years but i totally disagree.
When he took over we had to stay up....
Even last season we were under a transfer embargo for most of the season. One game we had the option of wildig, taiwo and Rae for midfield and still got to play off final.....

This year for th first time we have a squad capable of going up.... Let's wait and see.

We defo weren't looking too clever bookies were predicting mid table some worse.
and then the bellamy speculation boosted us and then early form we become favourates with QPR , and a few others

He just can't get his team to take that final step, no giant step for Jones, no giant leap for Bluebird kind. :(

Prove me wrong Jonsey. :o 8-) 8-)

Personally I think he's done a good job......and in some very difficult circumstances

Things have been so bad we were worried that we'd be in administration not only last season but also at the start of this season. I can recall a lot of posts saying we had no chance this season and now the same posters are saying we have failed.

Get a grip...........get behind the boys tomorrow and keep the faith.

If we don't make it, then it may be time for a change.....regardless of who is manager and who is playing, I'll still support the Club.

That is what it is all about....the team and not individuals :ayatollah:
