Just wondering if he will be keeping us informe this summer because i enjoyed them and the only reason i started coming on here tbh but i was thinking will he not be doing it because of chat happened with that player who ended up going to leeds but forums were blamed lmao

Who went to Leeds, where Dave Jones, the legendary scouse intellectual that he is, blamed message boards to alerting Leeds about our interest.

Because, after all, O'Brien, acting as his own agent, wouldn't possibly have mentioned our interest to Leeds - who he was already on loan with at the time, and were the club he supported and lived near to.

No, had to be the message boards fault.

When O'Brien, in an interview, stated he's an honest guy, so told Leeds of our interest - which in itself is the right thing to do, rather than shit on a club like some - he clearly must have been lying.

Which in itself was another example of Jones looking to get a cheap dig in at anybody aiming a perceived slight in his direction.
