Who is Steve Tucker?

I apologise immediately, showing my ignorance, but I have to ask who on earth is Steve Tucker. I appreciate he is a journalist, and he has his views, like the many others who contibute to this Message Board, except that he gets paid, or does he? I also accept that Dave Jones has had a rant about him, but now is the time for a cool and clear head. Dave Jones must get the team 100% focussed on the job ahead, and not show that pressure is, if it is!, getting to him

I think he is the main football journalist for one of the Welsh papers such as the South Wales Echo. Living up here in Derby I dont get chance to read it but have heard on here about Steve Tucker. From what I see this Tucker has got right under DJs skin.

On a match day you will normally find him standing outside the corporate hospitally entrance of the Grange Stand smoking on a half smoked rolly he just found on the floor.

You can't miss the guy he looks like someone who is lost and looking for directions to the nearest soup kitchen.

a fat useless so called journo who does the job he does just so he can get into games for free,cant stand him ...always critical of the city and spends to much money on pies ...has he ever seen a salad !!!!

He used to raise some great points and arguments but I get the feeling either he's become too big for his boots or he's been told to just write stuff that will cause controversy. I stopped reading the Echo about 2 years ago... sorry Carl!!!

Hes a nice chap to be fair, I met him on a pre season tour with city of Ireland around 2000/2001, Always on the bob bank watched the city for years

i've met steve 3 times in total over the last 10 years .

1 . when we played a football fans game against the jacks in 2002
2 . when we played a footie tournament a few years ago in memory of cossy who was city fan through and through
3 . at a morrissey concert in cardiff

to me a typical journalist who likes to cause a stir in the media a bit like dave giles in the real radio circles
