Well done to the posters who are abusing, blake, whitts, burke etc for last nights game? After a well fought 0-0 draw away from home with the players working hard, there's nothing better than coming on here and seeing our well-educated fans ripping into the players
It's so embarrassing now. Blake made one mistake as someone said, but he was superb other than that, Burkey wasnt getting many chances to run at the defence but he worked his socks off getting back. As for the person who said Whittingham was poor, jesus christ, wot were u watching, the man supported the attack time after time, waiting on the edge of the box ready for a shot and I also saw him sweep up no end of times wen the ball came in the box. Wot u r saying is not an opinion, it's just blatent crap. Come on here next time and congratulate the boys and support them for the next game. WELL DONE CITY!!

Only Abusued Blake - Only because I don't rate him & I proved to be right - IF kebba was plying he would have ripped him to pieces

Blake played in defence and we drew 0-0? so u were proved right? Blake was brilliant, he just rushed in too quick on one of the challenges. I remember wen Blake first started making sub appearances at Ninian Park and he was awful, but he's more confident now and turning into a good little player.

the boys were a credit to us last night, well diciplined and gbave 100%. I do agree with the whitts comment he did play well but to me hes not a central midfield player for me, i would rather see him out on the left!

Have to disagree sorry Mr Moo Cow. Blake was exposed a lot due to JET being a lazy so and so. Considering he spent a large percentage of the game outnumbered with no attacking outlets or support he did really well. I think if you don't like a player you magnify his weaknesses during a game. I thought Blake did well. He wasn't perfect, granted, but he did a lot more good than bad. He even had the confidence to take his man on which got us out of trouble a fair amount of times. Don't let one or two stray passes affect your opinion because every player out there did that last night for both teams.

We drew 0-0 because they were blunt without Kebba - Blake wears his heart on his sleeve but in my opinion he's not good enough
Its all about opinions

We didn't have Bellamy, Hudson or McPhail. We could talk about ifs and buts all day. Just because Kebe didn't play, doesn't mean he would have done better.
You're right, you're entitled to your opinion and who knows if you or I are right if either of us are even right! I do feel Blake is being harshly criticised though and maybe it's worth us all holding negativity until the last game has passed. The players need all the confidence they can get.

if messi was playing he would have ripped him to pieces. stopped jobi and kanu from playing there game, got past his player quite a few times. im no football manager but i would say he did fairly well being a defender and keeping a clean sheet aswell

We all agree to disagree
The only thing that matters is scoring 1 more goal then Reading

Well said mate once uve got it in your head that you dont like a player people then exaggerate their performance when they make 1 mistake. I thought he played his socks off and couldnt ask for any more from the lad. I thought the back four were magnificent in keeping reading out. I thought it was only a matter of time. by 70 mins you could see reading heads drop as they gave everything but couldnt find a way through.
Bellers went off early we looked nervous and in my opinion were there for the taking but came away with an amazing 0-0 draw.
Now reading are there for the taking and i have full belief we will come away with a well fought victory on tuesday then its back down the M4 to wembley.
BELLERS WILL LIFT THE CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY OFF TROPHY!!!

Fair play for defending you're team & rightly so, it was a good battling performance.
From an 'outsiders' view I thought the whole team done well except for JET who done next to nothing & doesn't appear to have much of a first touch & Chopra who was non existent for 75 minutes.
Its all well & good saying he didn't get the service but for the first 15 mins Bellamy was chasing everything & that's how you get service in games like that you create you're own luck. Chopra hasn't got that in him anymore by the looks of things.

I thought we battled well last night, Burkie for me has completely lost it. Needs to be replaced, but for who?

How were you proven right?
Darcy Blake played in defence last night.
We conceded 0 goals.
Proven wrong if anything.
And you say IF Kebe (yeah, Kebe, not Kabba, who used to be a Sheffield United striker

) - that's purely conditional, the fact is he didn't and nobody "tore Blake apart" last night.
Facts are a wonderful thing.

Its just my honest opinion but i thought we were awful last night, alright they worked hard but they couldnt put more than 2 passes together and kept giving the ball away, our midfield are virtually anonymous,im all for getting behind the boys but please try and play some football.
