" MICHAEL CHOPRA "
Did he play last night ?
If He did, did he touch the ball ?
Until this Season he had always been one of my Favourite City Players .

Very very Sad Simon, HE COULD OF BEEN A CITY LEGEND.

Chopra is finished. He has been given the help and he has thrown it back in the faces of those who want to help him. We need Michael Chopra but all we got is drunken gambling drunk who won't be earning the big bucks for long now as a player he is finished IMO next season I hope he is not at this club, gone withDJ

True, we love players like him with passion, when he scored the winner against the scum that was the best moment of my life so far.....no joke
He needs to concentrate on football and he could be a Cardiff legend as you say.
I Would Love to See the OLD CHOPS BACK TO FORM

i feel the same was always a favourite player of mine but recently cant say i hold him in high regard like before he looked slow and out of shape last night has got really high standards to live up to and doesnt look like ever repeating those feats ,prob wont be here next season imo

big shame

Should have stuck on Koumas and played JET up front or Parkin to give Jay more freedom to use his ability over being a target man.
Sat May 14, 2011 8:20 am
Looks a shadow of his former self.
Slow, no sharpness, overweight, no urgency in his play & an all round poor performance.
Needs to use the summer to sort himself out, mentally & physically.
Will he do that? I doubt it.
Sat May 14, 2011 8:21 am
He didn't have the service to be fair to him, I thought Oli was missing and don't think JET is the answer unless he decides to start running at people, changes needed on Tuesday, that's for sure.

Chopra plays off the shoulder of the last man, the ball was never there.

Your right mate Chops could have been Legend , to be fair we have a team full of would be Legends but they have all gone down hill half way into the season. I wish (and I bet DJ do to ) we could put our finger on what it is with our players. The only one that has stay at the top of his game is Super Kev. Our 2 main strikers have gone AWL ,and what a bloody time to pick!
I think Chops is still bench rusty, he needs more game time, that is why I didnt understand why DJ didnt give him more game time when we play Boro ,or Burnley.

Football is a funny old game. I'm as unhappy with his attitude as most but if ever there was a time when Chopra was going to hit back then it is now. I'll support him on that pitch whether I agree with his off-field antics or not (just to clarify, I don't!

) and he is the sort of character who comes good when you least expect. Big game player and even though his actions might suggest otherwise, he does love the supporters. Don't count him out yet.

It surprises me that a lot of people are just picking up on chopra now, he's been this poor for over a year and his off field antics have been disgusting, we are just scraping the barrel with what we know publicly! He needs a stint in rehab, he's had so much support but continued to self destruct! He can still be a legend but he seriously needs a big wake up call before he pisses away his career
Sat May 14, 2011 9:43 am
No sevice though.I thought we were piss poor.

should have been fined and disciplined by the club about his weight until he got down to where he should have been.
If he had anything about him he would have been training when the other players were off to get to some sort of acceptable fitness level.
where's the chopra who played in the play off final last year

Sadly his off field antics prevent him from putting in performances that he is capable of.

Now is not the time to be slagging off one of our payers who is in crisis.
Especially has he does have the ability to be a match winner

Stan, I feel he needs help, counselling etc.

The ironic thing is that Chopra had a strop at the end of last season and said if we didn't invest in better players he would leave the club. We did invest in better players and now he can't get in the team. I still rate Chopra, but he needs to improve his attitude and performance.

I am stating the truth, and lets be honest,Lully 98% of your posts are usually slagging people off,so I am a bit shocked for you to say this to me.

There's one big difference though Annis.
Nobody takes much notice or really gives a f**k what i post.
Those that know me and most people that don't have sussed out I'm a messer, so my opinion is featherweight.
On the other hand, your high profile has given you a responsibility and a lot of people hang on your every word.
So, to slag off the player that may have to stand in for Bellers could influence some peoples support of him in what is going to be our most important game ever.
So as much as I respect and admire your support for the club, I must say I find your criticism of Chopra untimely and irresponsible.
Therefore, I trust you will retract this statement and issue an apology in good will, immediately.

Lully You've got it, my sincere apologies about you

, but not about Chops, they are DEF TRUE/HONEST FEELINGS I FEEL ABOUT HIM OF LATE.
Lully, I have to be able to Speak my mind, other wise I would not be Me

Chops did very little not did JET , Still reckon the beast has something to offer , he should have got 15 minutes , why else did we buy him ? He created havoc for us when he played against us .
If Bellars is missing Tuesday and lets be honest even a twaek of the hamstring is two weeks out the team needs to cahnge formation , they obviuosly trained relying on Bellamy but once he left the pitch we panicked , time for Jay and Chops to stand up and fight for every ball and get us up

We were never going to go gung ho on friday nite. I think DJ must have told his players to be cautious and not take to many risks by pushing forward in droves. Things will be different tuesday nite as the onus will be on us to take the game to them, but bearing in mind their willingness to counter attack whenever they get the opportunity.
