" On That Performance.. "

I'd expect you are very happy.

Not vintage by any stretch of the imagination but taking a 0-0 back home to the CCS is a massive advantage.

Some quick things I noticed.

McNaughton- class act, great awareness & has a real engine, a gem.

Bywater- done his job but flaps at crosses.

Chopra- did he even touch the ball?! Needs to get way more involved.

JET- waste of a shirt imo.

Bothroyd- goes over like a $10 whore, never on his feet.

Bellamy- anyone know the extent of his hammy injury? Will he be fit for Tuesday?

On the whole thought you done well & Keinan was MOTM for me. Swansea & Forest both showed a bit more quality but of course its who performs on the day.

0-0 good result well done.

Great support by the way. Looked good on the box.

I agree bothroyds a fag and jets way to big to play on the wing oli was meh and keinans good but ive said it from the beginimg sometimes goes down too easy and give away silly free kicks but is better than gyepes and mcnaughton is our prize possesion when he isnt playing cb i dont like him there should of had blake in there but they had a decent game 2nd half much stronger than the first roll on tuesday

Super Kev MOM for me :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Yup Super Kev for me as well, although Keinan battled well with Long. I actually thought the performance was awful but 0.0 away from home is decent and I would have snapped that up before the game!

Also fair play to Naylor when he came on, I know he's the whipping boy but he done well in the time he had.

Meant to say in my original post also first 10-12 mins you look so dangerous with Bellamy darting all over the gaff, when he went off your threat was significantly affected. You will need him Tuesday for sure.

Stan, really happy with that result tonight. Some players went missing tonight and some just played their hearts out. We didn't play that well but still got a result so onward and upwards I say :ayatollah:

The home team traditionally bottles it in the home leg of a playoff semi so we have to be well up for it on Tuesday. Hopefully Bellamy will be ok, he didn't look that pissed off when the camera caught him sat on the bench, fingers crossed.

Yeah, it was tight but Kev sneaks it purely for that tackle in the first half. :ayatollah:

What makes you think that mate? Just looked like a tweak, he didn't look distressed or upset. Few days rest I'd say.

But if you're right it would be a great shame as his fitness this season has been top notch. Would be a massive blow to lose him at the very time you need him most.

Luckily with Bellamy it didn't look too bad, he knew it was enough to err on the side of caution and did so. Scan on Sunday/Monday will reveal any damage there might be.

The most significant thing for me was Whittingham put in not 1 but 2 tackles.

If he can produce more of the same when not in possession then we'll have the player we want.

It was a tidy performance and a clean sheet! :ayatollah:

To be honest mate if I'd shared it around on here you'd of ended up with a very very small slice!

Did you hear anything after the events mate? I heard the FA were more than happy with the explanations & conduct of the QPR legal team & I honestly feel the 'record' fine dished out was more than it should be given the charges but hey its over & we are up so I'm more than happy with that.

Care to join us?

Definately take the invitation on joining you guys but we have the lottery first.

I did speak to my friend who told me that the record fine was nothing more than a face saving exercise for the FA. He told me that the written submissions QPR put to the IRC had everyone worried before the whole thing started and by Wednesday morning QPR barrister had the FA tied up in knots.

It should have been wrapped up there and then but the FA had put so much into their Flagship regulation on 3rd party ownership it had to go through with it.

As I say Stan the level of fines were bullshit and intended to save face for the FA which at any level is wrong. To put QPR and the other clubs through the nonsense was a disgrace but justice was in the end served :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

O kev mcnaughton u r the love of my life O kev mcnaughton i'd let u shag my wife O kev mcnaughton i want silver hair 2

He was fantastic last night. Cannot believe he didn't make it in the championship team of the season.

Game on tuesday, take each game as it comes. If it is Swansea in the final, I'll be at wembley to watch a big moment in the history.gotta wonder I think Swansea will be slight favourites, we had Ramsey when we last amazed them in th Swansea slums!!!!!

Too right castleblue.

The FA were as I mentioned at the time on a damage limitation exercise after day 2 of the hearing so we obviously heard much of the same info.

QPR seriously considered appealing the fine but for the sake of writing a line under things & moving on they have appeared to decided against doing so.

£875,000 + £260,000 legal costs is a small price to pay for Premiership football.

Oli does a job, he gets stuck in, mops up well and disrupts the play of the opposition, BUT will someone then please take the ball off him immediately because he cannot play football.
