FOR THE PEOPLE NOT IN WORK OR RECENTLY FOUND WORK

Did you find it through the JOB CENTRE because when i was out of work 2 and a half years ago i found them to be f*cking useless, go in on a sign day they would look on the computer for all of 2 minutes and say sorry nothing. Thats a commited job search useless fucker and these idiots are the people trying to find you work. Luckily i found a job and been in it for two years, my advice for anyone not working is retrain go on courses, go to places that fund your courses because the job centre is a joke of a place. My missus recently got a job full time as well through agency job centres are in my opinion useless and should be made redundant .

Agree with you about Job Centre's, never once have i found a job through those useless f**king places, complete waste of time, as most jobs on their computers have already gone by the time they put them up...

Never needed to set foot in one luckily enough. Know of people that share your opinions though.

Yep they are f*cking useless. My misses lost her job 2 months ago and we are having a baby in 7 weeks. She still hasnt had a penny off them. She has sent all the forms off they gave her only to be told 2 weeks later they were the wrong ones, She took a form into them, they photo coppied the form and sent it to their main office only to be told 2 weeks later they will not accept a photo coppy. They really take the piss and it really makes me mad.

I know someone who works for the Job centre and she said these days it's "what can we cut?" not "what can we give you".

You hear all these stories about people claiming 1000's of pounds etc etc I don't know how because it's hard work.

I was on the dole just over a year ago, they did there best and were ok but at the end of the day they cant make jobs appear. They told me to go to the airport job fare which I did and have happily been working there since

Companies dont tend to advertise in Job Centre anymore, they use Recruitment agencies as they get too many applications from Job Centre. Your better off updating/improving your CV and going to the recruitment agencies to register with them looking for work.
