Mean that it is more likely that Craig Bellamy will be with us next season?
Having achieved their No 1 target for the season with a possible 1st FA Cup win in 30 years surely that will see Roberto Mancini pretty much safe in his position at Manchester City. Surely his presence at Manchester City will mean that there will be no place for Craig.
If it is possible for Craig to be here next season, and lets face it he made his position quite clear last week, I hope we can tie up the deal quickly.
Maybe having Craig signed up early may help us attract some higher quality players to the club in the summer.

I'm not sure he will be here next season, tbh. At the end of the day, it's not up to him and, I think, he's still got 2 years left on his contract so will the Malaysians sanction paying a share of his £90k a week wages when they can get a transfer fee for him? It's all very well him saying he wants to play for us and wouldn't play for anyone else in the Premier League, but it's the club who own him and, if they want, they could just let him rot, to coin a phrase. It wouldn't do them, or him any good, but it could prove a point that it's them who call the shots and them who decide if they get a transfer fee for him. They can afford to do it, after all

Well they have qualified which will open the doors to another more improved batch of world class players, and beller wont have been given a second thought!! He also said he is staying at cardiff whether we go up or down!

You really think they will for a second season? Especially if they can get a transfer fee

Yes. He will still be wanted by the likes of Spurs who could use him as a cheap back up and even Liverpool might want him back now as Kenny was a massive admirer of his level of commitment. He could easily be a backup for Suarez and Carroll or Liverpool could keep Suarez and Carroll for the league and let Bellamy play in the Europa League. He's still more than capable of cutting it at the top in my opinion. Bellamy will hold them to ransom in my opinion. Let me go to Cardiff or a rival otherwise I'm not going anywhere. They won't let him go to a rival because Spurs will want to rebuild this summer and Liverpool's recent form has been strong and they're likely to splash out in the summer too.

If you think that a player like Bellamy could hold a club like Man City to ransom then you're living on a different planet. If he doesn't agree to a transfer then they'll stick him in the reserves and let him rot. Then they'll go out and buy someone else. Either way, if he doesn't do as they say, they are rich enough to call the shots

Man City will buy some world class players so i think there is a chance they might loan Craig back. While there at it, wouldnt mind if they loan us other fringe players like SWP, Given, Boateng

As long as Man City keep Mancini im very confident he will be back. He has said he will only play for Man City or Cardiff and I doubt Man CIty will want him mopping around if he isnt in the 25 man squad. ill be rooting for Man City in the final

It's probably in Craigs hands.
If he wants to come back again and the wages are the stumbling block, then perhaps he could take a cut in wages. £40k a week is still £2million a year.
I hope he stays

if man city qualify for the champions league uffa will not permit them to enter any way . the rules are changing next season , if a club spends more than its income they can not be entered into the champions league .
