we should be helping the likes of merthyr all we can and helping grass roots football in wales! ... not being the same as plastics who support man utd/liverpool etc who give all their hard earned money to english clubs! .... be nice to see welsh football going from strength to strength even more than it is now!

The title MERTHYR TOWN FRIENDLY threw me for a minute, I thought it was an announcement to try and get tourists to visit, I was going to say Friendly! the last time I went there someone stuck the head in me.

Was ideal for me. Day out on the beer in Carmarthen, The clubhouse has a bar with windows for you to have a pint while watching the game, pub with a beer garden overlooking the pitch.

Was it Summer 1992? Wow.
I can't remember who I wanted to win because although I had already been going to the City for 2 years I was playing for AFC Porth Under 12s at that point so I had no idea who to support.
