He was coming back from injury wasn't he?
I think his Grand Slam defeats have disheartened him a bit besides he's already now minted and has already won shit loads of "minor" tournaments so I think he's losing his motivation for it a bit like the way he kept beating R.Fed at the "minor" tournaments as R.Fed was already minted, had done it all before and is now only really up for the Grand Slam's.
He'll be back though he's a class act but his defensive style which works against 95% of players doesn't work against Fed as he's too powerful and accurate and just hits winners from everywhere on the court and by the time he changes to plan B he's normally a set and a half down. He just needs to be more aggressive from the outset as he's capable of producing some brilliant shots when he's really going for it and if he could get on top early on mentally he'd be able to do Fed like a kipper on the close in net spin shots as he's probably the best player in the world at dealing with Nadal's style.
He's playing in a tough era Federer is quite possibly the greatest of all time.

Ha ha very good Chief and very true. The only difference is if we hit the net we win if he hits the net he looses. So i have an idea lets sign Andy Murray
